What it's all about

Well here goes.  We were sitting down at one of our friend-family dinners (some family who are friends, and some friends who have become family) discussing movies when it hit me, why does it seem like all of the "greatest" movie lists are done by old people or by people who are too interested in the historical importance of a movie.  For instance, Citizen Kane, good movie, but best ever?  I think not.  If you are under 25 and tried to watch that movie and not zoned out at least once, I applaud you.  Now don't get me wrong, I understand the cinematic importance and what that movie lead too, I just don't believe that it is all that entertaining.  But I'm getting off topic...

What we decided is that once a week or once a month, depending on life schedules, we would all get together and hash out what WE believe are some of the best movies in varying categories.  We would independently create lists, bring them to dinner and debate on the final list; which will be posted here.

Our first topic will be: Greatest War Movies

We look forward to disagreement, as long as you can intelligently support your response.  Let the debates begin.
